The Legacy of Trump It feels like a decade when only four years, The Donald took office causing our fears. He'd fight for the people and go out on a limb, Depending of course what's in it for him. He mocked the disabled showing no class, But later denied he had been such an ass. His voters were blind to all of his faults, This often happens when dealing with cults. His voters were cheering and dancing with glee, The mess he'd create they could not foresee. They heard all his lies and soaked it all in, After drinking his Kool-Aid and forgiving all sin. To be a big man and prove he's no wussy, He bragged he grabbed women by their pussy. The women he had were always good lookers, So how come he later paid off Stormy hookers? Instead of bridges he promised a wall, Mexico he said would pay for it all. Obamacare would no longer survive, But it just doesn't matter if you're not alive. Feeling empowered to lie at each turn, When will his followers finally learn? They're all just his pawns caught in his snare, When it comes to their lives he just doesn't care. MAGA's the slogan he used for his win, While paying off hookers with whom he had been. His dream for the country may still come true, When the White House is vacated by you. He thinks he looks good with that orangey tan, When everyone knows that it comes from a can. He thinks himself stylish, flamboyant with flair, While everyone else just laughs at his hair. He thought it was beer when told there's a draft, Time for big daddy to make good on his graft. Bone spurs had saved him during those years, They weren't in his feet but between his ears. The lies kept on coming after he was sworn in, Where you could hear the drop of a pin. Many decided not to go to his show, But was really attended by millions he'd crow. He hired the best or so he did bray, Until they are fired for something they say. Boastful, conceited his selfishness grew, I can't wait to see him get what is due. His closest advisers are not free of sin, What'd you expect when he hires his kin? Others of course they went off to jail, To wait for a pardon to come in the mail. Russia placed bounties on soldiers abroad, But we hear no response from this demigod. He claims to be tough by his rootin' and tootin', When he's just but a puppet for Vladimir Putin. Soldiers are losers declared him one day, Passing on honoring the dead where they lay. His hair would be messed as rain came in waves, While those he had slandered turned in their graves. COVID hit hard and killed some old folks, But no need to worry as it's all just a hoax. He bumbled and stumbled and fell on his face, As the leader of millions he's such a disgrace. He said to drink bleach from a big glass, Or take UV light and shove up your ass. Hard to say which cure is the worst, I'm the second to try it - Presidents first. Keep everything open and the stock market high, He just didn't care how many would die. He must win the popular vote without fail, In order to keep his fat ass out of jail. As if not enough the streets were aflame, Cops killing criminals or so they would claim. Protesters armed and ready to fight, But who is to blame the left or the right? A calm voice was needed but never would come, The country was bleeding to which he was numb. It should not really matter which party's in power, But don't just sit in your bunker and cower. He took little notice of America's plight, Too busy cheating at golf his delight. A leader was needed in times that were grim, Too bad his voters had thought it was him. Pandemic and riots spill into the street, Innocent people start feeling the heat. A nation ignored that needs law and order, Man I am glad I live north of the border! Peaceful protesters were moved out by force, For a walk to the church and photo of course. With an upside down bible he showed his religion, Too bad he was missed by every pigeon. COVID be damned he still held his rallies, Can't interfere with gaining vote tallies. Fake news he called it beyond his controls, Those who survived would head to the polls. Next thing you know he's coughing and wheezing, It's one of those things you find very pleasing. To see him get sick from what once he denied, But pulling up short as a martyr who died. A landslide he claimed when he won the first time, But losing this time by the same was a crime? "They stole my election" he went on to claim, As he kept searching and searching for someone to blame. Call in the press for conspiracy reasons, Then go ahead and book the Four Seasons. So in Trump style the plan went ahead, Between a porn shop and home for the dead. Count only votes that were put forth for me, Is just what the President wanted to see. For votes cast for Joe he sought an injunction. Seems that he suffers from electoral dysfunction. He called to his people to help fund the cause, Send me your money but don't read the clause. With legal bills mounting and debts that are deep, One last chance for trimming the sheep. He looks for the corner in the Oval Office, Rocking fetal position while getting nauseous. Whimpering endlessly "it isn't fair," While sucking his thumb clutching his own Trumpy Bear. He worries of jail so they tell him "Sir, No," A penal colony is where you will go. Perking right up he's no longer forlorn, He thinks it's a place for making male porn. Democracy challenged and took a big hit, While those in the White House were staging a fit. He bullied and sued every state that he could, But the courts told him "No" just like they should. He thinks himself honest with no need for penance, Thank goodness the White House will soon have new tenants. Kicking and screaming is how he will go, Taking great care not to mess up his flow. He cries and fusses just like little babies, So much so you would think he had rabies. No shame or guilt or conscience at all, Pouting and shouting he'll go home with his ball. The public has spoken and your time is done, Your trophy wife's glad that someone else won. Thanks for your service we bristle to say, Don't go away mad just go away. The fight is not over and one thing we learned, The civil unrest leaves us all quite concerned. Respecting your neighbour whether your kind or not, Was really behind the wars that were fought. We look to our leaders to rally the troops, To lead by example and jump through the hoops. Unite nations and people but not drive apart, Show some compassion, caring and heart. How long to mend is tough to say, He made it all worse to our dismay. So many still voted for him in November, It's hard for the rest of us not to remember. He set a new record as history will show, Losing popular vote came as a blow. Add his impeachment and serving one term, No longer fake news but truth that is firm. His cronies in jail now send out a call, Pardon us, pardon us, pardon us all. So many get out as their jail time ends, To make room for his rump, family and friends. He bullied and cheated all of his life, Bought land and tall buildings and even a wife. His lying ass ways were always inherent, He has not a clue that he's so transparent. He wants all to love him as much as they can, But so many see just a pitiful man. Why don't they like me he wonders aloud, He may never know with his head in a cloud. Silver spoon privilege is just what he had, Craving acceptance and praise from his Dad. Schools would accept him due to a cheat, Later he brags being there quite a feat. Claiming false credits he toots his own horn, Those who correct him soon feel his scorn. How dare we question what you say or do, Just 'cause you say it don't mean that it's true. The election seems lost despite all his pleas, Good to see Trump finally down on his knees. Begging the country to give him the vote, But when justice prevails he seeks a scapegoat. Privilege soon gone will be his concern, Bad taxes and crimes of which we will learn. Law suits and charges may change his luck, As if playing dodge ball I'll watch Donald duck. Mar-a-lago has told him if you retire, Living elsewhere is what we require. So many hotels but where will he go, With no extradition it could be Moscow . While the country gets sick he stays home in bed, God only knows what goes on in his head. Perhaps he envisions his life off the throne, With a new cell number that's not for his phone. Texting and fixing his hair until noon, No need to care as he'll be gone soon. It's tee time for him not working till through, With no relief funds his fans suffer too. Obsessed with the TV and what they all say, About all the crap that he spews every day. Just like a diva who the critics caress, This tiny man believes his own press. In isolation to stop virus spreading, Watching to see where America's heading. I would listen to Trump in disbelief, At least he gave me some comic relief. His own little world is where he lives now, How he looks in the mirror we'll never know how. The country has problems that may only widen, But at least it's not Trump but his rival Joe Biden. We suffered four years under his reign, Waiting for things to be great again. With most of the country weary and tired, The voters came out and told him "You're Fired."
